Kayak Fishing Charters

Naples, Fort Myers, Marco Island / Everglades

I PRACTICE CATCH AND RELEASE AND DON'T USE LIVE BAIT. If you'd like to use live bait and fill your cooler with fish, I'm not the guide for you. I primarily use flies and artificial lures, occasionally chunk bait. We often fish in windy conditions, long distances and precise casts are necessary at times especially if we're sight fishing on a grass flat or casting near the mangroves. Practice well before your trip especially double hauling to avoid unecessary frustration. It will help greatly to increase your chances of catching fish.

Naples, Marco Island, and Fort Myers offer a truly unique kayak fishing experience and provide some of the best light tackle backwater fly fishing and spin fishing in the region.  The back bays, grass flats, creeks and rivers that comprise the Marco Island and the Everglades backcountry provide a rich and diverse habitat for some of Southwest Florida's most sought after game fish like sea trout, redfish, snook, and juvenile tarpon.

Beach Fly Fishing for Snook (on foot) Offered May-Nov

The beaches of Southwest Florida, most notably those of Naples, are known for some of the best snook fishing.  Naples offer easy access to mangroves, beaches and passes. Habitats that snook like!  Snook roam the beaches during the summer and fall months when bait is plentiful. Walk the beach and sight cast to snook cruising by just a few feet away. Fly fishing for snook along Naples beaches is very popular and is one of the most exciting battles on the long rod.
